Vans and light trucks to take 'pride of place' at show

Date: 04 April 2008

Vans and light trucks will take pride of place at the CV Show, which takes place in Birmingham later this month.

All important brands in the UK will have a presence there, showing almost 200 vans and lights trucks between them.

Show manager Tony Young said: "With so many vehicles to choose from, operators will be spoilt for choice, exhibits range from micro vans to 6.5 tonne, high roof panel vans.

"The range includes diesel, hybrid and electric power and of course a huge range of bodywork, fittings and accessories."

Meanwhile, the Freight Transport Association (FTA), which represents the interests of the freight industry, will also be present at the show.

The group will be running events for couriers and logistics managers, giving free advice on various subjects including the Driver CPC qualification.
