FTA will offer haulage advice at April CV Show

Date: 03 March 2008

The Freight Transport Association (FTA), which represents the interests of the freight industry, will be present at this year's CV (Commercial Vehicle) Show in Birmingham.

The group will be running events for logistics managers, giving free advice on various subjects - which could be really useful.

As well as information regarding the Driver CPC qualification, the events will cover areas such as managing risk (including corporate manslaughter), and the Operator Compliance Risk Score (OCRS).

Also, those who attend will get a guidance pack that will help them in these areas.

Any managers with questions about digital tachographs should head the FTA's way too - the group will be displaying its full range of tachograph support equipment, and will be showing how to download data from driver cards and vehicle units.

In addition, the FTA will be showing various other support services for haulage managers, such as Carbonfta (which helps to measure and report on carbon emissions and their associated costs).

The CV Show is taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from April 15th to 17th. The FTA will be at Stand 240 in Hall 8.
