FTA publishes new Yearbook of Road Transport Law
Date: 11 January 2008
The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has published the latest edition of its Yearbook of Road Transport Law.
The book, which is available to members of the logistics company association, is 443 pages long and is put together by the FTA's legal experts.
It contains information about drivers' hours and records; the London low emission zone, which comes into effect next month; and the Driver CPC, which applies to freight haulage drivers from next year.
"As usual the FTA Yearbook provides brief and essential information designed to keep operators fully aware of all aspects of road transport legislation and other relevant areas such as health and safety," a spokesman said.
It will help both owner drivers and owner operators understand their legal requirements.
Separately, Transport for London has introduced the London Freight Plan, which will help road haulage companies become greener.
