New Truckers' Atlas published
Date: 04 July 2007
A new must-have truckers' companion has been published, which will be invaluable to haulage and logistics companies.
The new Truckers' Atlas Britain, published by the Freight Transport Association (FTA) features comprehensive details of truckstops and cafes, so that freight forwarders can easily find a place to recharge their batteries.
The 360-page hard back book also contains details about the UK's narrow and weak bridges, the heights of 4,700 low bridges across the country, and the location of speed cameras, so drivers can avoid unnecessary penalties.
Costing £20, the book was produced by Automobile Association Developments Limited, and is spiral bound to allow for easier reading.
It is available from www.shopfta.co.uk or by calling 08717 111111.
Meanwhile the £6 FTA Drivers' Handbook, which also features valuable information for lorry drivers, is still available.
The FTA represents the interests of road, rail, sea and air freight haulage companies.
